Elephant Bar

In my eyes and in the world of Meesha, Elephant Bars main purpose is to serve me my Santa Barbra Burger. Everything on the menu may as well be non existent because I basically have tunnel vision when it comes to the menu and what I order. I always order the burger. For the first time today, I decided to step outside my comfort zone at the E-bar and get some tri-tip and shrimp dish, can't even remember the name because I basically ordered it on a whim, while fighting the urge to order my Santa Barbra burger (which they have a picture of in the menu, which makes it that much harder to avoid). Well, what a grotesque meal that shrimp/tri tip was. :( I knew I should have ordered my burger, I could have easily made this dish with Uncle Ben's minute rice and some frozen shrimp/tri-tip. Totally not a memorable experience or one that would satisfy my taste buds to the core. I will definitely *singing to the tune of TLC's chasing waterfalls*: "stick with the santa barbra buuuurggggerrrr I'mmm useddd to, I knowww thatttt I gotta have it my way orrrr nothing at allll, cause this dish was reeealllyyy baaaad". hahaha

Anyway,

I love sitting outside on the patio, it's really nice and clean and kinda tropical (well as tropical as you can get in rundown fremont). Will come again, but not for anything else on the menu except the burger.

  1. Places like these really tick me off. I'll go in there and wonder where the bar that's made out of an elephant is. And then the bartender will look at me like *I* am the weirdo. Then, I'll have a bunch of shots, scream about "false advertising" and wake up next to some strange woman on the sketchy side of town.
